Now this is nice.

A couple of months ago, I posted some snapshots of Dave Davis' "Water Heater Contraption."

Well, some time later and a lot of updates on K57, Dave is final;ly ready to reveal his New and Improved water heater contraptions, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Click the link for hsi description of the materials, construction and results.

In a world where oil is 127.32 cents a barrell, there really is no need to pay Simon and Kin to make water hot for you.

John McCain's POW story from US News

All politics aside, anyone that went through this kind of hell deserves to be given the highest office in the land he vigorously defended.

Imagine that, Teenagers AND Ladies dresses for sale. Wonder if they would have better sales if they carried children too? You might have seen this unique advertisement on Marine Corps Drive in the last couple of weeks.

Fun and Fast food from China

Just in time for the Olympics! I was talking about some of my invented recipes: Bulati on a Stick, Koko-Bird on a stick and "Popcorn" Slugs and my pal Robert heard me talking and sent me this PDF to add to the discussions. Once again, I'm humbled by my ignorance...Please review:

Barack Obama and MZB discuss the fine points of some legislation. Well, thats what I was told. To me it looks like Barack is bugging her about giving up a delegate vote! She looks annoyed yes?

Pretty Glow of Ordot

The Ordot dump cuaght fire again. Fortunately, this time it seemed confined to the green waste area. DPW folks on the scene were concerned that it may migrate from the area and were anxiously waiting for Guam Fire to arrive to put it out.

GAO testimony before the Senate committee

This is the report provided to the Senate Energy Committee by the GAO. The same hearing Congresswoman Bordallo and Governor Camacho attended. No surprises here, just a confirmation of the catch-22 we are in. Funding will be hard to come by until we know what we need to build, which we won't until the EIS is done. But infrastructure upgrades need to be built up now, but we won't know by how much until the EIS is done...
